Relay theft - should I keep my car keys in the fridge?

Interesting article today from the BBC showing a new breed of car theft - relay theft. It seems that anyone with a "keyless" entry system to their car, or an internet connected car, could fall prey to this. More and more cars incorporate this technology and it is great not to have a carry around a bunch of keys.

It seems that with any new tech, however, there are risks that may not be immediatly obvious.

Be aware and take precautions if you can (keeping your car keys in the fridge???).

Ultimately, make sure that your insurance will respond if this happens to you.
