Company directors beware

Legislation introduced in January this year has made it even more important that Company Directors ensure that they are personally protected against any allegations of wrongdoing. 

Any director with assets of more than £37,000 who are facing criminal prosecution will no longer qualify for legal aid, leaving them exposed to significant financial risk.

Insurers are responding by altering their Directors and Officers Liability policies to ensure that they protect against this possible exposure.
